Our firm believes that a strong appeals unit is essential to a successful litigation program.   

Even the best-defended claim can result in an adverse decision from a Law Judge.  For this reason, we make sure that our attorneys create a solid record when litigating cases at the Workers’ Compensation Board.  In the event an appeal is warranted, whether based upon errors of fact or law, we have a dedicated appeals unit to protect our clients’ interests.  Our firm has the capacity to appeal cases to the Appellate Division, Third Department, or even to the Court of Appeals when necessary.   

A well-crafted appeal can make the difference between success and failure.  For this reason, when drafting appeals our appeals unit reviews the trial record in detail, cites transcripts and pertinent case law, and formulates novel legal arguments to give our clients the best chances of success.
